Deep Sea Fishing is a form of fishing where lines with hook-rigged lures are dragged behind a boat to entice fish to bite. Types of fish caught are tuna, marlin, swordfish and possibly shark.
Bottom Fishing is when the boat stops in deep waters. Hooks are charged with lead lures that make the line go down to the bottom of the sea bed. The fish caught are smaller and the chances of catching plenty of fish are much greater. Types of fish caught are sea bass, sea bream, squid and red snapper.
With bottom fishing you can catch approx. 30 fish in one afternoon. With deep sea fishing it is trickier catching the tuna but will be far more enjoyable if you manage to catch a 200 kilo tuna. It will take you a couple of hours to reel in one of these
We usually go on the skippers professional recommendations however you can decide which type of fishing you prefer. , With deep sea fishing, you can never guarantee a catch, but half the fun is waiting and hoping a fish bites the bait.
You will be able to bring drink on board the boat however we will also provide some beers or bubbly for the group. Please note that the skipper is in charge and he will not allow any one to be so drunk that it puts anyone's safety at risk.
